About The Cook-Off
The people of Tri City are proud to announce the
1st Annual South County Fireman's Cook-Off. The event will be on May 15th, 2010. The cook-off is being held in honor of our local volunteer fire departments, with all proceeds* from the event going to support each participating fire department.
The event will recognize an overall winner in 3 categories of barbecued meat; beef brisket, port ribs, and chicken half's. Teams from each of the south county fire departments will be barbecuing for the public and judges.
The Tri City Citizens Alliance which is hosting the event will be providing the rest of the fixins for the barbecue.
We'll also have games for the kids, fireman demonstrations, fire apparatus on display, music, and a silent auction. Some of the details are still being worked out, so check back often for updates.
This is Oregon, so be prepared for rain, the event will proceed rain or shine. A covered eating area will be provided. More Info . . .
